The Telegraph is a prominent British media group with assets including newspapers, apps, and digital content.

While working at The Telegraph, I increased Telegraph Puzzles subscribers by over 50% and grew daily active users by 30% through a complete redesign of the web and mobile apps. To further drive player retention and engagement, which rose by 40% and 25% respectively, I created a streaks and achievements system that rewarded consistent play. I also developed and launched two new puzzles, Panagram and Sorted, which contributed to a 15% boost in daily usage.

In addition to introducing new content, I focused on enhancing existing puzzles with improved features and greater accessibility, elevating the overall user experience. I also revamped the puzzle completion screen to make it easier for players to transition to additional puzzles, resulting in an 18% increase in continued play. Beyond puzzles, I launched the podcast “The Daily T” and a new audio platform, which together drove a 22% rise in cross-platform engagement.
